Now it is time to have a great evening at the races and support your local cricket club at the same time! This is an event for Welford Park Cricket Club who are fund raising to purchase much needed equipment.

It is planned that there will be an interval in the middle of the racing (after 4 races) when a two course meal, based on jacket potatoes with a vegetarian option available, will be served. Many thanks to the people who have volunteered to prepare the food. The link to the social club will be open so that drinks can be purchased throughout the evening.

We would like to thank the following who have generously agreed to be race sponsors but with a total of 9 races we are still looking for additional sponsors:-

We are now looking for people to become the owners of the Horses (£3) for which you can name the horse and also to be the Jockey (£1). There will be prizes awarded on the night for the winning owner and Jockey. Of course there will be a tote run for people to place their bets during the night which will have a 50% payout. So now is the time for you to get involved and make a note in your diary.

Tickets for the evening are £7 per person and need to be pre purchased with your main meal selection made. If you would like to attend, become an owner or a Jockey (you do not need to attend to be one of these and your prize will be sent to you) then please contact Ian Herrington on 01488 648132 who will be more than happy to deal with your request.
